Some help with Linksys BEFW11F4 wireless router please???

Hi guy's,

I have a Linksys BEFW11F4 wireless router at home. I am having problems with poor signal strength in the other rooms, I have concrete walls. Do you guy's know if the HGA7T(Linksys made) anntenas can help me out with this problem?
Do any of you have a pair and can recommend it to me?

It might help some but concrete and wireless dont play well together at all.

How far is the computer from the router?

You might have better luck with the Linksys Wireless-G Range Expander which will also work with 802.11b. Linksys used to make a signal booster for 802.11b (I have one), but it doesn't show on their website any longer. Maybe you can find a used one somewhere. Or just go with the range expander.

You can go out and also buy the Linksys WRT54G and download a third party firmware called HyperWRT that will allow you to increase your power output.

Also radioshack carries Linksys compadible upgrade antennas for around 20 bucks.

Increase your power output is not always a good idea and can actually cause more signal problems.
