| hacking attempt.quick help quick need plz?? :(
i got a router and i checked incoming logs and found ip in there 24.225.244.218 on port xxxxx and my antivirus found an exploit in my pc and deleted(not 100% sure) it.I think some hacker got into my pc.I disconnected my modem and router and scanned my pc deleted the exploit.exe (i think thats what it's called not 100% sure) using kaspersky antivirus. Now after that i connected my modem and router checked the incoming logs and i see 81.79.245.126 on the port 64908.Wat should i do now to prevent these hackers from connection to my computer?
Update and now incominglog says a new ip 82.116.74.13 on port 64908

Log back into your router and block that specific port. Are you using any software firewalls?

Do you have a firewall setting in your router? If so, there should be something that has port blocking or something...type in the port.
Do you have Windows Firewall turned on? Check that as well.

EDIT: If you need more help withthis, you can either call Linksys or your ISP to see what is going on. Or you can tell us what model of Linksys and who your ISP is? there should be documentation that came with your router as well. If this is a router provided by your ISP, call them. If it isn't, contact Linksys. You should be alright once you get to your firewall settings though.
