Location by IP address?
Here's my scenario...
Recently CBS Sportsline started changing the way in which it offers live video feeds based on location. I'm assuming that they are using my IP address to determine whether or not I "qualify" to get access to the live sports feeds. I was curious if there was any way around this or if I could mask my IP to trick the site in order to think I'm actually living in the US?
They still offer dial up connection feeds for those not living in the us, but I'd much rather watch text come up on the screen then watch it at 2400 baud speed.
thanks for any info/help

all you should need to do is use a US based proxy server

That isn't hacking, it's simply proxying/forwarding.
All you need to do is find a proxy server in the US and direct your internet connection through it.
EDIT: Bah, I am too slow!
