Netgear WGR614

I have just begun using a Netgear WGR614 v6 router to tap into my son's DSL capability. His house is in the neighborhood about 150 yards away. I get excellent reception from the router from my outside porch. As soon as I move into the house, I lose my connection. Is there a relatively inexpensive way to boost the signal so that I can connect from within the house?

Since it appears you have a working line of sight connection, a simple external antenna should work nicely. Opt for a directional yagi antenna, mounted outside, pointed towards your son's router. All you need is a small antenna, coax, and somewhere to mount.
