Connecting a wireless router to a wired network

I just got a Linksys WRTG54GC, and I'm hooking it up to my existing wired network (with a BEFSR41). Something like this:

[dsl modem] - - - - - [wired router] - - - - [wireless router] - laptop(s)

with several wired computers attached to the first router

My wired router's ip is 192.168.2.1
The wireless is 192.168.3.1

I can access the internet via the wireless router, but I can't access the rest of the network. I'm guessing that the difference in ip ranges is the problem. I tried setting the wireless up as 192.168.2.x with x being 2, 100, 200, and 254. Every time I tried to do that, I lost the ability to communicate with the wireless router, and could do nothing but reset it.

Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks.

Right on the wireless router, disable the dhcp server and the firewall on it. (disabling the firewall might be something you can just pass as it wont affect you in this case)

Next give it a static ip address on the same network that the wired router is using. So 192.168.2.230 or whatever and make sure you have the same subnet as the wired router or whatever isnt in the DHCP pool. (make sure you set the gateway to 192.168.2.1 on this router) Then set up the wireless part (ssid, encryption, etc)

Now plug in the router to the wired router, use any of the 4 ports on the back of the router. Not the WAN port. You should be able to connect to the wireless and get a DHCP address with no problems.
