Port forwarding

I have a Linksys Wireless G broadband router with 2 phone ports (wrt54gp2a-AT)
firmware 1.00.26
blah blah anyways I want to do some port forwarding so I can have a better ping in Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory. (At least I think that's what you have to do to get a better ping) Can someone please explain how I can do this?

firewall settings in applications and gaming. put what ever the port range is for your game into the settings. (like if its 20000-21000 on your computer then put that into the router) and put in your computers IP address then click enable
