    How I can find what wireless card I have?

    Well I remember few months had trouble find driver for that 1 wireless card so found right driver but lost again. Wireless card is work but want know what model is so I can put on window 2000 pro but now it on old dell run window xp pro.

    Do window 2000 pro support wireless card?

    Well found that. my wireless card is Liteon Wireless Lan PCI 802.11 B/G adapter WN5301A #3


    But liteon don't make wireless card. It weird but they make sound card or cd drive.

    Take the card out and google the FCC number on it, if there are no other identifying marks.

    Ok I did research on wireless card here info

    CE!FC FCC id:PPQ-WN5301A model number: WN5301A

    And I see brand who make those is ANATEL

    I thought it would help you by see picture.

    Well I did download then try install on window 2000 pro but have problem. How to extract that files? I try Winrar it not work.

    Well anyone know how to do that? It need to be unzip then install but on window 2000 pro I have no idea how to do that.

    No it not work.

    It show inf. then I did unzip with WinZip it work but it show 3 files so I click on it WN5301.sys

    then it pop say what program you want open it say .sys system files. I don't remember but do I should put that in system32 in window 2000 pro manual?

    What you need to do is to go into device manager, right click on the wireless card and select update driver. Point it to the folder with the three files in it.

    Thank now it work but i get error say can't connection so I look at wireless card's light it flash green every 5 sec. What wrong?

    Yes it 20 feets away and I am use WRT54G. last time I use wireless card was last night with old dell it work good.

    Look I need learn how to use window 2000 pro it first time to have that in our house.
