Connecting two wireless routers together

I am trying to connect 2 routers together for internet. I have 2 wireless routers One in my kitchen which is with the modem and the other is in my room.

The one in the kitchen is connected to the compute in the kithcen and then theres a 100ft Ethernet cord going from that router to the one in my room which has 2 other computers hooked up to that one.

I need help on how these 2 routers should be configured and what not. I don't want to use any wireless part of them.

The router in my kitchen is a WGR614 v2 and the one in my room is a WGR614 v7.

Thanks in advance for the help.

you will need to disable the DHCP server on one of the routers. Dont plug anything into the wan port of the second router in the bedroom. Disable the wireless on both routers since you dont want wireless at all

Do you know how to access the web based configuration of the routers?

Enter 192.168.1.1 into the address bar. The password is blank the user name is admin or vice versa.

I assume router mode is on already for the routers.

You should only need one router though. One router 4 ports, 2 computers (Three counting kitchen) ...???? Except you would need another 200 ' of cable if you used the one router.

I actually have about 400' wired here! All done myself. Wireless is for the birds! Especially to us gamers. HEHE.

Shouldn't the router in the kitchen be plugged into the WAN port of the router in the bedroom? Kitchen router WAN port to modem, kitchen router port #1 (For example) to bedroom connected to the bedroom's WAN port.

The two other computers in the bedroom have 1 and 2 and the kitchen 3? The router in the bedroom has to receive the router in the kitchen via the WAN, right? No DHCP of course manual IP address settings. I would think the other way would require a crossover cable.
