Connecting desktop Win ME to laptop Win Vista

Hello folks,

I'm an old man that need some help.

I have a desktop PC with WIN ME and just had an ethernet card installed and connected to broadband internet service. Can I connect to the internet using my laptop WIN Vista? what connections do I need?

There are a few ways to go about addressing your networking needs. It appears you have a relatively new notebook, so it should have wireless networking support. If so, I would suggest opting for a wireless router (around $25-$50). The router would sit between your broadband connection (DSL, cable, etc.) and personal computers. The notebook could connect via a wirelesss connection (WiFi) to the router, while the desktop could connect via a wired connection (10/100) to the router.
