help cant get 2 wireless router connect to each other

help need, anyone know how to setup 2 router connect to each other and access internet from one of router, one thing is both wireless router is different brand

Let me just make sure I understand what you're trying to do. You're looking to take 2 routers and make 1 wireless network, so you can use one of those routers to create a wireless network and then use the other to use as a wireless bridge (turning the wireless back into wired) so you can hook up any number of wired devices, correct?

What brands and models are the routers?

You are right, intention to do that, as now i don't have the brand of wireless router, have to go back and confirm.

ok i have cfm my router, main internet wireless router with modem is from singtel which is MIO Box as my another wireless router is from Asus WL-520GU

I also am trying to connect to wireless routers (both WRT54G). I have a router on the first floor and I want to put a router on the 3rd floor to act as a repeater that is wired into the other router. What settings do I need on the 2nd router? Do I need 3rd party firmware or can I use what's on the routers now? Is there a certain order this network needs to be connected? Any help would be appreciated. Thx.
