    How to change a password on Server 2003?

     
    My friend wants to change the password on his server in his office. I might be able to figure it out if I was in front of the computer, but I'm trying to help him over the phone.

    Can someone tell me where you go to change the password to log in to the server? It's running Microsoft Server 2003.

    Are you talking about the local admin account?

    Right click on my computer, click manage, click local users, click users, right click on admin and click reset password.

    If its an active directory account, you will use the active directory tool from admins tools

    I'll try that. I know that he has a single server for his office, serving about 2 or 3 computers.
