| Spotty wireless...sometimes
It's a bit strange and I cannot figure this out, i could really use some help
I am using a D-link WBR 2310 (firmware ver 1.04) for some basic home networking. One computer is hardwired, as is the printer, but my PC is wireless (D-link Rangebooster N card). anytime I am doing basic web browsing it flickers in and out even though I have max signal strength (I am only 40 feet from the router through one wall). one minute I am connected just fine the next the wireless signal is dropped and I have to wait 2-3 minutes for it to pick the wireless back up or disable the card and re-enable it, once I do that I'm good for a few more minutes. But if I am doing ANYTHING else, torrents, MMO, streaming audio/video, anything, I never loose the connection. It remains fine until I am done doing whatever it is I am doing then once it's idle for a minute it drops the signal again. does anyone have any ideas why my wireless would be doing this??
