Cant config 1 PC with 2 NICs on 1 Network

I have a laptop that is used to program industrial equipment via ethernet. The industrial devices must be hardwired to the laptop. Additionally, I use wi-fi to connect to the company network for internet, email, etc. Everything uses a 10.0.0.xxx address on one network. When the wi-fi is enabled, I cannot connect to the hardwired devices. I find my self enabling and disabling NIC's all day long because they must be exclusively enabled for anything to communicate. Is there a way to use both NIC's simultaneously on the same network?

The problem is selecting which data goes to which network. How can you do that? I have no idea. You're obviously using TCP/IP to control the equipment. Is it possible to switch to Token Ring or NetBeui for the equipment? If so, that would free up the WiFi for TCP/IP.

The equipment all requires TCP/IP.

Normally, the equipment is on the same network as everything else in the company. I hardwire to the network and have access to everything. No problems. Sometimes there's no where to plug into, so I have to resort to wireless.

Could I possibly use a router to pull in the the wireless signal and then connect the router to my laptop and the equipment? This would eliminate the need for the wireless on the laptop.

You would need to set up a WiFi router as an access point for the main WiFi router (bridged mode). If you can do that, it would work.
