The modem you have should be fine
Is there any reason you need 802.11 A? The reason I ask is because its not widely used among clients. |

How many network ports do you want? Do you need gigabit? How much are you wanting to spend?
802.11A isnt really needed and you wont find it in many SOHO network equipment |

i need to connect my pc and 360 directly, and then my wii, ps3 and laptop wirelessly, so a total of five. I would spend whatever it took to get the best quality, but I was thinking somewhere between 50-100$ |

I think any B/G router should do the job.
If you connect to your Wii without wires, your security cannot be set higher than WEP as that's all the Wii currently allows.
However, you can get a USB adapter and then connect the Wii to the router by a wired connection. That way you can set your security to WPA or WPA2 if the PlayStation and Xbox support them.
If you have a Nintendo DS and want to connect it to the internet, you can't go higher than WEP.
EDIT: I used to think the Wii only supported WEP but I may be wrong. | Nintendo - Customer Service | Wii - WEP and WPA/WPA2
