Access school's network from home?

Hey guys,

So I just started going to a new school.

They have a network setup (of course) and I was wondering if there was any way of me accessing it outside of school.

The teachers put class files on the network drives, and I would like to be able to access them when I am not actually at school, or on a school computer ( will be getting my own laptop soon!)

Is this possible?

Thanks!

Wes

Hi,

Yes it is fairly possible, but only if the school has a VPN set up, and you'd have to be authorised (and given details with which to connect) to use it remotely.......

Yup, you are asking the wrong people you'd need to talk to your teachers or the admins at the school to see if they allow off campus access. If they don't the you are just S.O.L.
