Need Help Connecting Linksys Wireless Router to Laptop

I have a Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Broadband Router or this

Linksys.com/Now Shipping/WRT160N - Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Broadband Router

and well I cannot get it to connect to my laptop. It has built in wifi, and it picked up my wireless modem when I had Yahoo. Now I switched over to broadband and I had to buy a wireless router, but it won't work.

Yes the wireless switch is turned on in my laptop.

Any help?

Typically you want to configure your router while wired to it, not wirelessly, have you tried connecting via cable?

Whats the make and model of your laptop? Does the laptop have a wireless N card or is it a wireless G card?

Are you saying you can't connect to the wireless or you can connect to the wireless but you have no internet?

Do you get internet if you plugged into the router with a network cable?

Do you get a "Limited or no connectivity" status?

Sounds like DHCP isn't setup in the router and that, as stated, will require a hardwire into the router and Internet Explore to 192.168.1.1

BTW, I have the same model, you're going to love it
