Loopback Conector
I am trying to build a loopback connector and I have couple of questions...

1. If this is properly configured, will it turn the light on on the NIC Card?

2. Will it show internet connected on my lower right hand task bar?

loop back connector? You mean a loopback cable or a x over cable?

If so yes to both answers

Yes - a loopback connector......well, I have tried several times to conect the wires - this is the link I'm following:

Make your own Ethernet Loopback connector | www.TikkiWeb.net

...but I can't get it to work - I have followed both the color codes and the 1-3, 2-6, etc., wire positions..........hhhmmmmm - maybe the connector is bad....I'll try another one........
