Negative... the problem is the same on all other computers. I didn't think it would make a difference but I had to try |

No, it still cut off after 20 seconds. And it turns out I can only use port forwarding on one ip at a time for any given port. Maybe this router just sucks? |

Oh wait, it says to use port forwarding you MUST use a static ip? would that affect it? The ip addresses match... |

If the computer has the ip address, it shouldnt matter if its static or DHCP. They are just covering the basis that if it does get a new ip, it will break the port forwarding |

Well, I tried disabling the "Send SIP Keep-Alives" option... no go. I read a few posts on the forum that said X-lite uses dynamic ports and to manually set them in the topology options.. I did... set to 8000-8005, the same ones set up for port forwarding... still no change. Apparently there are a few people experiencing this exact issue (disconnecting at 20 seconds) and there seems to be no resolution yet. Apparently certain routers cause this issue, and I have one of them. There's got to be something I can do... |

Oh, now it seems to be a problem with the service according to other forums. It seems that this is happening to people even with no router, and people who've had routers for a long time and are just now starting to experience this. Only seems to happen with x-lite though? I don't know... it seems to be dependent on a variety of factors |
