Dude, OPEN your eyes and read.
[b]Please give more information about your setup[b].
What connection type, DSL or Cable?
What kind of modem?
What kind of router?
What kind of laptop?
How far away is the laptop from the router? Are you like across the street at the neighbors house while trying to connect?
Throw us a bone here.
My guess, you have not setup your wireless connection correctly because you have not read the manual. |

If you cannot get onto internet with your laptop directly connected to your cable/dsl modem then there is something wrong with either your computer, modem or internet account.

This could be down to there being another device with the same IP address, but is more likely to be due to the machine not getting a valid IP address.
I'm going to presume you're running some form of M$ OS (Windows).
Click Start --> Run --> type 'cmd' [enter] --> type 'cd\' [enter] --> type 'ipconfig' [enter].
This should give you around 6 lines of data, and I'm thinking that you will have one of those lines that states "IP Address.....................169." followed by some other numbers. If this is the case, type 'ipconfig/all' [enter] and then let us know what it says there...
(If you right-click the "title bar" of the "command prompt" you should be able to select "QuickEdit Mode" to have a tick in the box, this will enable you to highlight the contents of that box - and if you then hit the [enter] button it will copy whatever you have selected. This can then be pasted elsewhere.)

If the router is not supplied by the ISP, most of the time they wont support it. |

Do you not read anyones posts? Several things have been mentioned to you to try and you have not even acknowledged them.
Have you even read the manual? |

I'm going to guess it was prolly that the DCHP service either wasn't active or wasn't giving the machine an IP address - which for anyone's information, ZyXEL routers (that are configured as a DHCP server) won't give a Fista machine an IP address... |
