I have a linksys WPS54G printserver connected via cable to a Linksys wrt160N router(the printserver also has wireless capability, however I do not use those). Several computers are hooked up to the same router and print to the HP Laserjet 2300L attached to the printserver. So far so good. One of my computers, runiing windows xp professional is hooked up to the router via cable as well and prints ok.
However: I also have a wireless adapter Linksys WUSB54GC which i have plugged into the same computer to connect it to the internet via a totally different router. So the computer is hooked up to two distinct networks, one via cable, the other via wireless. The networks have different subnets.
Here is the problem: as soon as I plug in the wireless adapter, i can no longer print to the printer attached to the printserver. Pull out the adapter and all is well again!
Does any body have any idea why and how the wireless adapter interferes with the printer??
