Internet Connection problme

I have one old Desktop from my Office, now i am using at my home and try to connect it with Wireless router with cable .... still i am not sure either i need toi change any settings in internet connection or not as that system was used in LAN connection and still have same settings in it.

Please help me out how can i connect it through wired connection.

If any one can provide me screen shot will help me lot.

You should type cmd then ipconfig. If you just type ipconfig the dos prompt will flash up then disappear
