atheros wireless card

hello,
my aunt has asked me to look at her laptop as she has been having trouble connecting wirelessly.
i tried a few things with no success then decided to disable the intergrated wireless card and install my own... low and behold the internet is now working. YAY!

i am wondering if anyone else has any problem with the ATHEROS5006EX wireless network adaptor and as to why it sends packets but does not recieve.Also is there any fix for this?

any help would be greatly apprieciated

well ive used the windows update and it says they are all up todate

Def do this, dont use the windows drivers that usually breaks things more than help!

k guys thanks for the tips, ive done as u have said still no luck so ive bought a netgear adaptor and it works great.
did try a belkin adaptor but there just crap
