Browser not verifying SSL certs

Everytime I come across a website with a SSL I get a notification that the certificate isn't valid, and I have to always create an exception and even then the page doesn't display properly. All other standard pages are fine.

I don't think it's a browser issue, might be a adapter/internet issue but at my end. Maybe my settings are wrong somewhere?

What reason does it give for the SSL certificates not being valid?

Make sure the time and date is correct in you BIOS and computer. A power outage or bad CMOS batter will do this to ya.
