Hi, I have an Acer 7520 laptop that was running Vista. The OP system crashed and I was unable to recover it after trying a multitude of things. I took a Vista Op System Re-installation DVD from a brand new Dell laptop and was successfull in re-installing Vista sp1. Everything seems to work fine, except I cannot connect to my wireless router. When I try to connect to a network the machine says "Windows cannot find any networks". So I click "View network computers and devices" and it shows a blank screen.
Then I try Control Panel - Device Manager - and I don't see anything that looks like a wireless adapter. It seems to me that the new Vista is not seeing the laptop wireless card (which was working previously). Help!
