| Can't Access Router Config
Running Windows XP
Going to my base computer, I type 192.168.1.1 into the web browser, and nothing happens...
I used to use port forwarding years ago for Xbox Connect/Live with this method, I remember doing it, it's not working at all now... Doesn't have the popup for a username/password or anything..
I have a Linksys BEFSR41 (I'm disgusted that I remember the model number of my router... too many internet connection problems over the years)

What browser are you using? Have you tried a different one? Check for spyware?
If all else fails restore the router to the factory settings and see if that works |

Some routers are configured for either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
Assuming default configuration.

I can see you not getting the right info. this is what u do. make sure ur router is conected to ur PC. Then go to the run comand in ur start menu and type (cmd). then type (ipconfig) some infomation about ur network will appear it will look something like this
conection specific dsn sufix . : cat3900.net
ip address.............................: 172.16.0.255
subnet mask.........................: 255.255.255.0
defalt gateway .....................: 172.16.1.1
type the defalt gateway in your wed browser and ur clear.
