| Determining ip route and serial address
How would i determine the serial address for a router and also the ip route, so that i can get two routers to talk to each other in packet tracer.
Thanks

Yeah it's packet tracer.
What i want to know is how you work out the serial ip address and the ip route. |

Any ip addresses you assigned are determined by what you are allowed to use and what you are given. In a lab environment you can pretty much use what ever you want! |

ok....pulling my hair out now
Have managed to get the serial ip addresses, but need the "ip route" so the routers can talk.
I can't seem to get it. |

The routers cant ping each other right now while on the same subnet?
Can you post your conf files for each interface |

It's a setup with 5 different subnets. Routers are not on same subnet.
Will get back to you on the conf files. |

Ah okay, yeah post the config files that will help a lot
FYI simulation software is kind of broken when it comes to a lot of things, it could be the software itself (ive never used it buy most of the simulations are pure garbage). That is why I use GNS3 |

Config files for the three routers. |
