    Can't access Google

I really need to be able to access for work. Need google docs. Tells me that the address is not valid. I am able to access all other websites except those associated with google. Can anyone help me? I have reset my browser and that does not work. I am a novice at this so anyone that has some patience would be great. I operate on windows XP.

    Thanks

Are you going directly to https://docs.google.com/ or are you trying to access a particular document associated with your work?

What other parts of google can't you reach? Does this work Google

Are you logged into your google account?
    What browser are you using?
You said you reset it, what does that mean?
Have you tried clearing the cookies and cache?
Have you checked for malware/spyware ect?

I am using IE 8. I don't have a google account yet because I can not access www.google.com or really anything that has google. com in it. On my internet settings under there is a button to reset browser if not working tried that still doesnt work. I have cleared cookies and the cache still does not work. Upgraded my norton and still nothing. I just tried the link you posted but only brings up the seach and when I go to search for anything it tells me that Internet explorer cannot display the web pageInternet Explorer cannot display the webpage

    What you can try:

It appears you are connected to the Internet, but you might want to try to reconnect to the Internet.

    Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

    Most likely causes:
    • You are not connected to the Internet.
    • The website is encountering problems.
    • There might be a typing error in the address.

If you can visit the link I gave you but not google.com then you are having DNS issues as it looks like you are not able to resolve the domain name but can reach it via IP.

You might need to reset your modem or router and flush your computers DNS to see if it resolves the issues.

you'll need to open a cmd line windows type ipconfig /flushdns
