Unable to connect laptops through router
Hi,
I have a broadband connection with a static ip x.x.x.x i want to configure my router so that i can connect my home laptop, my office laptop and phone for net access. As of now, it is confired in such a way that as soon as i shut down my home laptop, the office laptop and my phone gets disconnected.
Kindly help me in configuring my router so that i won;t have to keep my home laptop .

Welcome to TechIMO.
If that is your external IP address, you need to remove it from your message.

Can you please give us an idea of your network layout?
What model router do you have?
