Weird internet connection problem called DSL company said line is damaged but
A lil over a week ago I started up ytorrent to download some porn closed it and since then my internet has been slow as shit. Downloading at 30kb/sec youitube videos aren't even worth the wait to watch them. Can't really do shit but misc. Called them last Friday and they said the line is actually damaged and they are repairing it. I'm still waiting. But last night I clicked on ytorrent to watch some of the porn I downloaded and after I bust a nut I see that the files are downloading at 300kb/sec! thats my normal speed for this dsl but WTF?? ytorrent is getting full speed where as nothing else is. And ytorrent is never open so its not downloading shit 24/7 taking my bandwidth. What the hell is going on??

Are you sure it is not running in the background? Most torrent programs like to install themselves as a start-up program, and will turn on every time the computer is booted.
Since the telco said there is a problem with your line, it would be best to wait until they fix it before trying to do further diagnosis.Good job, friend-of-friends!
