Exclamation HELP! I can't access google!

Its been a week now and everytime I search or use something involving google (including youtube) I get "404 not found" and thats it. If I know the IP address it works or if something is bookmarked. I can only do search on ask.com and such but not google, bing, or yahoo.
I used google chrome but just unistalled it thinking that was the problem but it wasn't since now I am using Internet Explorer. I have tried a bunch of things and forums but nothings helped. My McAfee or Malwarbytes doesnt detect anything and I can access google on other computers in the house.
Please help! I need google for school which starts tomorrow!

    A.
    HijackThis Logfileauswertung
Paste it in the window on this site and delete the red "x" entries

    B. Use "bing" instead...

    C. try SuperAntiSpyware instead of Malwarebytes... It seems to catch more internet related issues than the others...

There is an unknown, InstallIQUpdater.exe Do you know what that is?

You have a ton of things that need to be fixed. Use the link that will analyze the log file and in hijackthis delete the entries. Something has taken over your host file to block Google.

No, I do not know what the InstallIQUpdater is but I do see all the problems and hosts. I followed what hijackthis told me to do but, every time it deletes the hosts they come right back. I also ran McAfee, Malwarebytes, and SuperAntiSpyware but I still can't get on google.

Download one of these, burn to a CD and boot the CD. Avira AntiVir Rescue System - Download

How to Set BIOS to Boot from CDROM - www.hiren.info

Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and find the hosts file. You will need to rename the host file hosts.txt. Make sure extensions are on by going ino an open explorer window and at the top select tools / folder options / view then untick hide extensions for known file types.

Delete all the crap in the host file except the following line:

    127.0.0.1 localhost

Now unname the host file back to hosts and right click, select properties and check off read only.

I did exactly as you said. I'm not sure if the boot worked or not and there were multiple hosts file so I just did all of them. I rebooted and still no luck!

Make sure that disk boots. It is a must. You did delete all the entries from your host file?

When Avira boots you should see a menu for scan options.

I never saw an options menu from Avira. I changed the BIOS so the CD was first and when the computer was starting up all I got was Boot from CD:_. As for the host files, they are still all deleted except the 127.0.0.1 local host.

    The hijackthis log hasn't changed

Try Malwarebytes and Dr Web Cureit if you have not done so already.

Malwarebytes will fix the host file. Search using bing as suggested.

If you still have issues, you may want to check out

    Good Luck

I think when it says boot from CD you should press the space bar.

I pressed the space bar and it said "hardware profile configuration/recovery menu" and there was only one option I could click which was "profile 1", after that nothing happened and started the same as usual.

Which download did you use? The SFX or the ISO? I would try the ISO and use a burning software. That's what I have done and it works. You should see a black menu and a choice of options. I believe you want the first option.

Well, I hope the scan will find the malware on your computer and remove it.

I ran multiple scans and saved them but I'm not sure it removed anything because it still doesn't work and the Hijackthis log is still the same.

Open hijackthis and with that link as a guide delete the X marked entries.

Post the log in here. HijackThis Logfileauswertung
