    PS3 downloads extremely slow

    Hi,

I recently got my internet connection upgraded to 120/10mbps. Everything is dandy except for my PS3 download speeds from PSN....

My PC clocks in at 40-60mbps
    Android phone does 20ish
    Laptop does 35mbps
    PS3..... 2.7mbps... wtf!

its taking my over 5h to dload a 1300mb demo. Does anyone know what I can do. Do I need to open any ports in the router?

Is it possible its just that slow coming from the server your downloading from (could be busy, or loaded down with downloaders)? or that the server has a maximum upload/download cap that limits for each user?

    Hey,

I doubt it. Demos, games, ingame patches... everything is REALLY slow!

Are you using the wireless or are you plugged into the cable? Who is your ISP?

What router do you have? Have you at least tried moving the ps3 and hardwired it to at least rule out the wireless causing the issue?
