Exclamation how can I make a wireless connection wired?

I have wireless in my building, but I would like to connect something (OOMA my voip line) into a wired connection.

what can i buy, what should i get to be able to directly connect something via an Ethernet cable?

i do happen to own a wireless b/g router that has 4 ports in it, but i dont think that will work for me here...

what should i be looking at getting or considering?

What is the model of your wireless router? If it can support wireless bridging, that is what you need

The dlink software on it does not support wireless bridging, however you can load a third party firmware that does support wireless bridging.

If you are a technical kind of person this might be out of your grasp to do (you can brick the router and make it useless if you do it wrong). But if you are feeling adventures this might be a nice little project for you

What GZ suggested is a great option, another option would be a simple wireless repeater. I have a linksys Re1000 that works pretty well. It syncs right up to my router and adds the option of adding in wired devices.

I have a similar wireless signal unit, Richeem (Rasheed XD) and it does work great. I'm not sure but it looks a little different. I could check the model when I get home but that's not important: I'd say go that route, Moonfire, if you want to also spread that connection around your house. Sometimes I find that service sucks - for example - out on my deck, so I got one of those to extend it (an antenna didn't work properly).
