2 wireless laptops
Can 2 laptops share a wireless signal from one router ????
My wife is getting a new laptop and want to know it both will work simultaneously ????
My router is full with wired connections. Two computers, Sony TV and Dish box.
Could I get an wired manual switch to switch between the TV and the her laptop if the wireless connection will not work ??

Actually Taxman lied to you. Why trust a Taxman? Haven't you ever heard the Beatles song?
You'd actually need 4 distinct wireless signals and a moderately strong wireless repeater. Trust me. I tried to get my Cuisinart online yesterday and I ran out of signal strength.
Wow, this was totally a post to increase my thread count. 100% BS. Nothing to see here. But I DO love that songggg... *plays his imaginary bass and slides around the floor like Tom Hanks in Big*
To be honest unless you have a helluva lot of things running at all times consuming your allot ted bandwidth you probably won't have a problem otherwise. I have about 6 PCs wired, many that are working on distributed computing projects, at least 4 wireless devices (Roku too) that access the network occasionally and I'm fine (30/30 Mbps that functions usually at 43/25, but even if you have less you're fine!). Used to even do lots of downloads at a single time (huge downloads), and have always been fine. Have fun, Pickel!!!
And in case anyone is wondering... yeahhh.... Verizon FIOS FTW. I hear some people complain about FIOS but in this area it's incredibly inexpensive and VERY fast. Then again this was one of the first places that had FIOS.

Oh how I wish we had FIOS here.
