Wireless drop out
Our mac will only pick up the wireless signal for a short time and then loses it. The iPad and iPhone work continuously with no problem. The broadband provider suggested it is something to do with channel selection or router security? Please could u advise.

What router do you have? Does it have the latest firmware installed? Do you have any kind of wireless security setup? What channel are you running the wireless signal on? Do you see other wireless networks around you?
Do you have the latest osx updates installed on your mac?

Windows tends to auto-set power saving on wireless connections. It will send the wireless card to sleep after a little while, losing connection. If your Mac does the same, try turning this off.
