    How do I uninstall Internet Explorer?

     
    I am trying to update Explorer but I can't until I uninstall the old one (IE8). It is not in Add / Remove programs.

    Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7600 x64

    Does windows update not show IE9 available for you?

    who say the (IE8) not in the add or remove programs
    open Computer
    select uninstall or change a program
    select Turn windows Features on or off
    a little box will open the first thing will be Internet explorer 8 it uncheck the box and select ok
    and done
    and like ggicollegeindia say
    You can easily update Internet Explorer. Just go to Internet Explorer site and get your version update.
