Spotty wireless
I've been dealing with this issue for a while, but want to finally fix it. My tower computer was hard wired for most of it's life, but when moving I had to switch to wireless to suit my roommates. The router is fairly centralized, but I will disconnect every few minutes for a short time. I've tried two different wireless cards, and my roommate is further away but has more stable connection than me. I have one thin wall separating the router and tower, and maybe 15-20 ft apart. Knowing that my drivers are all up to date, is there anything else I could check? Could a motherboard be a factor in causing the spotiness? Thanks in advance!

What router do you have?
What channel are you using for the wireless?
