    AT&T U-Verse DSL

AT&T U-Verse DSL appears to have some issues sometimes with pages only partially loading. I serendipitously discovered that clearing the browser cache solved the problem.

If anybody is interested in AT&T U-Verse DSL, it is now being offered as a stand alone product, no TV or phone needed to be bundled. That is very new. The pricing of U-Verse fiber optic U-Verse 12Mbps is the same as copper wire 6Mbps service. I was able to switch over without any out of pocket expenses and have a reduced rate ($24.95) for 12 months...

fiber to the home ... no thanks. There is a reason Verizon sold their ENTIRE market in the pacific north west, its not worth the money to dig up all that copper and place fiber for 99.99% of this country. You listed SF as your location and as thats where i live, i know the slowest speeds they offer with a deal is 12 megs which is currently on promo for 30 a month. As a stand alone internet product, i wouldnt pick uverse over comcast to save 5 a month.

Uverse is FTTN or FTTP among other hybrids. Either way it all turns to copper at some point.
