Switch Problem
Hello All
I have a new HP V1910-24G switch. I logged into the CLI console, to change the IP address, but it is never saved. When the device is rebooted it loses the IP address.
Also, the web interface is not displaying correctly. I can log in, but then there is just text at the top. When you view the source, it seems to be asking if you would like to confirm the settings change.
Any ideas?

1) Your first question: Do you type the save command for the switch after you made all the changes? Ive never worked on an HP switch, but like any device that has a CLI, it doesnt automatically save any of the changes. You have to type out a command to save any changes you made in the CLI
2)Second question: What browser are you using?

I tried the save command, but it does not work. It is a pretty crappy CLI interface. Save is not even listed as a possible command. It is not even in the manual, that I have been pooring over all day.
Get this I was using IE for browsing to it, and that was the problem. On a long shot I tried Chrome, and it worked.
I have it going now. Thanks for your reply.Imagination, is more important then knowledge... Except this time....

Hi If you installed Avira Antivirus correctly before, the above step should help you uninstall it successfully. Click Start menu and go to Control Panel.
