Troubleshooting router log
It keeps following this pattern, the end result is that I get error messages when trying to access my emails.Code:Router user.warn syslog: Warn: The origin for route 239.255.255.250 changed from LAN_IP_A to LAN_IP_B Router user.warn syslog: Warn: The origin for route 239.255.255.250 changed from LAN_IP_B to LAN_IP_C Router user.warn syslog: Warn: The origin for route 239.255.255.250 changed from LAN_IP_C to LAN_IP_D Router user.warn syslog: Warn: The origin for route 239.255.255.250 changed from LAN_IP_D to LAN_IP_E
Any ideas?

If I remember correctly that is UPnp traffic, are you sure that has anything to do with your email?
What OS are you running?
Are you using a software client like outlook to access your email?
Who is your email provider?
What problem are you having exactly?

What OS are you running?
Windows 7
Are you using a software client like outlook to access your email?
Outlook (no problem when using mobile internet or webmail)
Who is your email provider?
Not the problem (read above)
What problem are you having exactly?
The only problem I actually have is with the email accounts. Some times I can download the emails (usually after a router reboot) and other times I just get an error message.

What router do you have? Are you pulling these emails from an exchange server that you operate?
Did this issue just start or ongoing?

My router is a SMCWBR14S, no exchange server (standard linux hosting) and it's an ongoing issue.
I can get all emails when using a PC at another location only get problems when using the PCs on the office lan.

I really don't think your error log has anything to do with your email issue
UPnP Hacks: UPnP background
That error deals with multicast and UPnP
What network ports are your clients using for email? Did this work before and the issue just started or has this always been an issue and you finally getting around to looking at the issue?

I agree - I don't think the multicast route has anything to do with your email. Do you have another router you could hook in? did you check for firmware updates?

Just installed another router (different make) but the problem persists.
I'm at a loss since using the same email client with same settings in another location I don't have any problem accessing the emails.

I assume this is a third party hosting the Linux email server somewhere on the internet correct?
What error do you get in the outlook application?

Correct, it's a 3rd party email server.
One of the errors is 0x800ccc0f
Also note I tried connecting directly to ISP source and it works, but as soon as I connect any router I start getting errors (only in email, no problem with http webmail).

Error messages when you send and receive in Outlook and Outlook Express
Random question the other site that doesnt have the issue, does it by chance have the same router?
What port are they using for email?
Same ISP at both locations?
