Internet/Ethernet cable

I just got a new gaming PC about 1 month ago and everything worked fine until 2 days ago.The problem I have is when I put my computer to sleep or do a restart I cant log into my network internet, only way my internet comes back on is if I take the PC power cord out the outlet then put it back in the outlet, and then my internet turns back on. I tried doing the trobleshoot and I get this message "A network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken"...everything is plugged in and my ethernet cable is not broken because it works when I unplug the power cord out the outlet then back in. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Did you try to reinstall the network driver? I would uninstall it and reinstall. Another thing I would check is if the network card is in power save mode. If so uncheck that. Is this computer wired directly to a router or a modem? Did you make the cables yourself?

Hi Taxmancometh, yes I did reinstall the network driver but still the same problem.I have a onboard ethernet port, I dont have a network card, and my PC is connected to a router. I just got new cat5e ethernet cable about a week ago, also I tested my ethernet cable on my dads PC and it works fine, I did not make the cable myself.
