So slow how? Surfing the web? What is the other computer doing? Is it running torrents? What kind of Internet connection do you have? What router do you have? (model). Are these connected wireless or wires?

While both companies have their benefits, Intel being they're the biggest sellers across the globe but AMD appear to have faster processing abilities. When looking at the processors, think sensibly and ask yourself do you really need the latest and greatest or will you notice the difference on the two processors for instance, 3GHz in comparison to 2.8GHz.

Make sure to keep the cost down. Ordinary components such as the computer case will come in a number of different models such as mini tower. Select what fits you. Be informed that the memory would depend on what you plan to accomplish. Some of the parts like the memory need very careful handling due to static electricity. Get an anti static wrist strap to safeguard the components. They cost very little and could save you a lot of cash. There are various cheap books out there to assist you in putting together these components but you will also get free articles on the web with images and diagrams to guide you.

The info is obviously Cut & Paste... but its woefully out dated as well, just the fact it lists Office XP or 2003 edition for productivity software...

Intel & AMD are the key players when it comes to CPU's.... Yeah, because their the ONLY ones.

With the exception for some embedded based systems from Via, Cyrix, and others, along with the plethora or ARM Devices out there now.

    Anyways, Back on Topic.

based on their "intro" thread though, I figured as much, some how translation of making new friends on here, means entertainment and "marketing" as they stated...

That the guy you banned was on an IP spammer list. He never posted any spam, but I got a hunch.
