    Zonealarm going crazy

I keep getting "Packet sent from <IP adress> to 192.168.50.101 was blocked.

One such example address is 74.42.163.170 (UDP port 60387)

I just got a whole row of these messages, each from different adresses, what's going on?

220.208.75.145 (UDP Port 9649), got another one.

    220.208.75.145 is from Asia

    74.42.163.170 is in the US

UDP 9649 are used for: EMC2 (Legato) Networker or Sun Solcitice Backup (Official)

Online TCP UDP port finder - adminsub.net

What applications are you running in the background?

I used ZA for a few years many years ago. I learned real quickly to turn off the notifications to avoid being driven bonkers. The peace of mind that the hits were blocked should be good.

    Skype.

The messages appear to cease when I close my browser..Which is Chrome.

My Chrome has only Adblock and the Skype thing as an add-on.

Well, if the firewall is blocking it than you don't have to worry. I use Comodo firewall though.
