Port forwarding old router

i am trying to port forward. i have done it successfully before on another router. but the one im trying to port forward now is older and doesnt show the needed options im looking for. its a " Motorola Netopia Model 2247-62 AnnexA High-Power Wireless DSL Ethernet Managed Switch, PBC". iv set up the pin holes. changed the firewall settings, and iv found recently that i may need to change my dmz settings. but there is nothing anywhere in the menus about the dmz settings to allow me to change it. iv needed to port forward on several occasions, and if you could help me to just get to where i can successfully open ports, it would solve all my problems.

things iv tried:

:set the pin holes needed and made sure that it was on udp and tcp.

:iv enabled "UPnP"

(iv done the usual needed things for port forwarding) also, iv noticed that my IP address has changed; and is the same for the three laptops we have connected to our wifi. which im sure may cause problems later. the router is also the wireless adapter, and the service provider is PBTCOM.NET i believe.

Probably the problem is because of it being older version. I think you would have to change rather than make it work.
