Networking laptops
I have a desktop running XP connected to the router and 2 laptops connected wirelessly and running windows 7. Both laptops can see the network and print wirelessly but cannot write to the other machine even though they are on the same workgroup and have the same workgroup password. Any help would be appreciated as I am trying to sync files on both laptops for specific folders. Thanks

Networking home computers running different versions of Windows
wow MS changed their site
sorry the first response was short. Make sure they both have different usernames. Then double check to make sure sharing is open on the target machine.
I see you got it now - dam slow editing

I prefer not to be stopped in the street just because someone decided my clothes were "wrong" or my hair was "too long". I do understand and partly agree with your point, but this was too much, IMO.
Do you think this was a legitimate...
