Trust UN110W Wireless notbook connection kit: problem
I'm testing this at the moment. Everything works fine, there is an connection between my desktop and notebook, but I can't get my dsl connection shared and files shared...
I tried every xp wizard several times, but I can't get it working...

Documentation is pretty weak on that site but it would appear that is is simply and Ad Hoc setup with PCMCI card for the laptop and USB client for the desktop. And since it says it's preconfigured it may very well have static IP's already set. If you want it to synch with ICS or something like that to share your broadband connection then I suggest removing any IP data. You said practically nothing about how your setup. While typical for these boards it certainly makes it harder to offer advice. Assuming your dsl connection comes into your host PC with an ethernet or USB connection, you'd just right click on the connection icon in network places and click share. OS pretty much does everthing else but if your wireless devices have hard IP's then it's probably not going to work. Wizards in XP are a joke IMO but they may work out for you if you aren't already setup, ie. static IP's.
