Share Internet through Network?
How do connect to the internet thrugh a network? My 'Server computer connected directly to the internet has an OS of Win98, the computer connecting through the network to it has an os of WinXP, ive tried the wizard but it doesnt work. I manualy configured the IP addresses and it still doesnt work. What am I doing wrong?
Please Help."I don't have a solution but I certainly admire the problem."

Try checking the FAQ's at www.practicallynetworked.com. Or even at www.wown.com.
For win ICS to work, the "server" needs an IP of 192.168.0.1, and the "clients" need to be set for 192.168.0.x. Win XP has to NOT be set as a DHCP host.
IF your LAN is setup right, winICS should work. But getting winXP to share a ICS connection from a win98 host can be difficult. The wizard just mucks it up.
Check the links I posted and see if they hgelp.
Cheers
