Hey guys I was planning on building a network for a friends house and they got one of those mansions so the don't like cables running around so I figured the next best thing is probably through the phoneline (I know wireless is good but it's not that secure and its expensive, I'm payin for the network as a gift).
Anyway I checked pricewatch and found 3com's 3C420 Nics for about ten bucks each which I think is a great price but on their website it says that it has been discontinued and isn't sold anymore so I got suspicios and wanted too see if anyone knows anything.
By the way any good alternatives to 3com??
And where should I buy it? All the companies offering it have terrible ratings or none at all.
