On my XP laptop. I have already downloaded 1 iso of 5 for the RH8.0 and the first one downloaded about 2 hours. that file was 644mb the transfer rate on that one was about 86kb/s now the second iso is a total of 634mb and the transfer rate is at a snails pace. only going at 427b/s why are my downloads so crappy. I relize others might be downloading it as well. but sheehs. i expect a little better for broadband. I even have the other computer shut off in case it was a bandwith issue with having two computers sharing cable. however that doesnt' seem to effect.
Any ideas? |

i tried eddies link last night it was slow, showed like 19 hours. but will try again. right now it was downloading from www.linuxiso.com
so will try the other ones.
hopefully they keep the downloads seperate like the other place otherwise will have to redownload the first one again. | |

download accelerator? 
tried eddys link and say 6 hours and then jump to 4 hours and 49 minutes so stopped and then tried jkrohns links and its down to 1 hour for that one. guess we will see. | |

I got the dap figured out. thanks.  off to last day of finals.
Edit: thank you for the DAP downlaod link, had installed it and got my 6 files going for download. It just now finished. Phew!!!! that was a HUGE download! probably my biggest one yet. it was a total of 3.09Gb
