I see that you set up an ftp server and I have done so successfully, but I was wondering what I would need to do to get apache web server (or if anyone has a different suggestion) to work under the rt314? |

As far as port forwarding you would need to set port 80 to be forwarded to the IP of your web server. |

Maybe your ISP is blocking port 80.
You could try changing the port that your apache webserver listens on, and then forwarding requests on that port to your webserver. |

Greetings all... after reading through the original post in this thread, I went through the steps described and I'm ALMOST there. My friend can log into the server with the name/password I gave him, but he doesn't see any files. I gave him "Administrator Read Access," which I believe should allow him to see, and copy files. For some reason he cannot see anything however, even though he is in the correct folder according to his ftp program. None of the files are hidden, they're just normal files. I tried giving him full access to my drive, and he still could not see any files. Any ideas? |
