RP 114 Router - Port Forwarding
Has anyone ever set up one of these for direct connection internet gaming?

Had it a while and it works fine for net browsing etc, but I've never been able to Direct File transfer in IRC and I cannot connect to games on MSN gaming zone. I know it's something to with the router port fowarding setup but I've never done it and I cant find any useful documentation on it.

Anyone know how to set it up?

What's the brand? It looks like a Netgear model number but I can't be for sure.

Yeh Sorry

netgear rp114 web safe router.

It's got the worst web interface I've ever seen...

I can open IE to it on 192.168.0.1 but unlike later models there's no option for forwarding public servers (or something like that).

you should add the IP for the intern PC which will be the server and the extern IP! should work (port 80 and 8080)

i've got the same router and it worked!

Possibly...
I can get one working but there are three PCs I need to be able to play on game at same time...

192.168.0.2
192.168.0.4
192.168.0.5


I dunno if I can open them all and its annoying.

Anyway, I've got d-link router cos i'm moving over to adsl anyway. Gonna use the rp114 as a hub lol
